Visibility conference IPA Cross-Border Programme Croatia- Bosnia and Herzegovina 2007-2013

logoThe Visibility conference of IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina 2007-2013 was held on 21 May 2015 in Mostar. The Conference was organised on the occasion of signing of the grant contracts for cross-border projects selected for financing under the 3rd Call for Proposals. The conference gathered 115 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

The Visibility conference was organised by the Programme Operating Structures, Directorate for European Integration of BiH Council of Ministers and Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to BiH and Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia, with technical support of the Joint Technical Secretariat of IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia- Bosnia and Herzegovina 2007-2013.

The conference participants were addressed by Mr. Massimo Mina, Head of Operations Section for Social Development, Civil Society and Cross-border Co-operation at the Delegation of the European Union to BiH, Ms. Nada Bojanić, Head of Department for Cross-border, International and special EU Assistance Programmes to BiH at Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Helga Bubanović Devčić, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia and Ms. Ines Kos, Director of the Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia.

The results of three projects contracted under the 2nd Call for Proposals (˝IRRI, ˝PROGRES" and ˝Our Lady of Sinj Route") were presented as success stories of cross-border cooperation.

An overview of statistical information related to the 3rd Call for Proposals was also presented to conference participants.

A ceremonial award of certificates to 8 projects contracted under the 3rd CfP was held during the 2nd part of the conference. Grant beneficiaries used this opportunity to promote beginning of implementation of their projects and present planned goals and results.
